Henderson and Taylor were contracted by Hertford County Council to install new block paving in Hertford town centre, along Maidenhead Street. The works took place on a busy shopping street so measures were taken to protect the public whilst minimising disruption for local businesses. The old surface was removed and the ground was levelled before block paving was installed along the whole street. Works began at the end of September 2018, then paused at the beginning of December to avoid disruption to Christmas shopping, before continuing in late January 2019 and finishing in May 2019.
