Henderson & Taylor undertook a ducting and pipework installation across the London Gateway site. We connected the admin building to the Port. This involved the installation of multiple runs of 450mm pressure pipe, 250mm HDP pipe, low voltage multi duct blocks, high voltage multi duct blocks and comms, all of which were crossing under an existing rail way, through a Culvert. We also enclosed the end walls of the Culvert upon completion of the ducting pipe installation and constructed two in-situ access chambers within the southern head wall. All this crossing under existing 33KVA services and through a balancing pond lagoon, over a 900m run. There was constant over pumping of the site and continuous liaison with multiple contractors and statutory authorities. The works were completed in budget ahead of schedule.
