The 8000m2 commuter car park in Benfleet (School Lane Car Park) was resurfaced by planing out 50mm and resurfacing with 50mm of Stone Mastic Asphalt which was then re line marked. Works were completed between between 8pm on Friday night and handed back at 5pm on Sunday night. Works were split over three weekends. Traffic management designs were created and implemented to ensure access to the car park which was surfaced in thirds so the car park could remain open to the public and ensure that the revenue from the car park was maintained for the Local authority throughout the resurfacing process.
