A large area of footways in Long Brandocks, Writtle, needed resurfacing, so Essex Highways contracted Henderson & Taylor to perform the work. The job required that each section of footway be dug up, levelled and resurfaced, as well as managing the cabling underneath and replacing the kerbing. All of this had to be managed with minimal disruption to local traffic both by foot and in vehicles, so a comprehensive traffic management program was implemented to ensure this. The job is expected to run for 10 weeks, from 1st January to 4th April.
